Dizengoff Audio Type 140 Plate Reverb
The Dizengoff Audio Type 140 Plate Reverb is a modern take on the classic EMT-style plate reverbs of the 1960’s and 1970’s. It features three lush, rich plate reverb settings with user controls. It’s housed on a 500-series compatible card. It functions as a parallel processor. That means you’ll want to mix the Type 140’s output with your original dry signal in your DAW.
Built on a DSP platform, it features three user-selectable plate sizes, separate controls for high and low frequency damping, and a control for time decay. It adds lush, rich tone to your tracks in a way that only outboard gear can do.
Its analog path is designed specifically to add low frequency and low-mid energy, and the output stage is built around a high current analog driver. The specially-designed, hand wound M6 steel transformer has wide bandwidth and excellent low frequency response.
The Type 140 is limited run for 2020. Once it’s sold out, it’s gone.
